Glo Fiber Business Helps Ohio School District Up Its Technology Game
Glo Fiber Business Win, May 22, 2025: Glo Fiber Business is excited to announce that Hilliard City School district in Hilliard, OH has selected Glo Fiber Business as its network provider of choice. Glo Fiber Business will deploy two 10 Gbps Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and 25 1 Gbps DIA connections across the school district. The project is funded, in part, by a Federal E-Rate grant.
Located in the northwest suburbs of Columbus, the Hilliard City School District includes educational facilities ranging from K-12 schools, administrative offices, transportation sites, and maintenance/resource centers. As one of the fastest-growing districts in Ohio, it serves more than 16,000 students. Given its size, the district required a robust and reliable network capable of meeting high bandwidth demands.
As an all-fiber private network connection, DIA gives administrators, teachers, and staff the bandwidth and security to implement more classroom technology, stay in closer communication with parents, and more efficiently coordinate resources and efforts. Scalable up to 100 Gbps, Glo Fiber Business’s DIA provides the school district plenty of headroom for growth.
In addition, the school district added Glo Fiber Business’s Network Performance Portal. Network technicians can now easily monitor and manage their new Glo Fiber Business services in real time through an online, customizable dashboard with 24/7 account management tools. The portal also centralizes network operations, helping to reduce the school district’s costs and enhance services efficiently.
The decision to go with Glo Fiber Business was due, in part, to their experience in education technology and the government’s E-Rate funding program. As an authorized E-Rate service provider, Glo Fiber Business has spent more than a decade successfully partnering with school districts, education centers, and libraries to create future-ready, best-fit technology solutions that meet the eligibility criteria for E-Rate funding.
“Reliable internet is a cornerstone of modern education, and Dedicated Internet Access ensures schools can operate without disruption,” said Glenn Lytle, SVP of Commercial Sales for Glo Fiber Business. “With the addition of the Network Performance Portal, the Hilliard City School District gains greater efficiency and visibility into their network, helping to reduce both cost and waste. We’re proud to support their journey and look forward to a long-term partnership that empowers both educators and students.”
