City in Ohio Partners with Glo Fiber Business to Outfit New Amphitheater Space with DIA, Managed Network Services
Glo Fiber Business Win, October 14, 2026: A city in southwestern Ohio tapped Glo Fiber Business as its connectivity partner for a new amphitheater designed to serve as a regional gathering space. The facility will be supported by Dedicated Internet Access (DIA), Managed Network Services, and Network Performance Portal.
The city needed dedicated fiber and a Wi-Fi solution for the space, which is under construction and will accommodate about 3,000 patrons once complete. It will host activities including regional concerts, festivals, private events, community programming, and food and beverage services. It will feature a stage with VIP area and lawn seating, an event hall available for private rentals and civic use, concession areas and vendor infrastructure, and Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area connections.
The Glo Fiber Business team established a relationship with the developer after connecting at an after-hours Highland County Chamber of Commerce event, helping the company to understand the city’s needs early in the project. The complex needs of the multi-purpose space meant the city needed a comprehensive, robust solution capable of supporting a range of end users, including city staff, vendors, performers, and visitors.
The Glo Fiber Business team utilized the company’s heat-mapping tool during a presentation with city representatives, clearly illustrating Wi-Fi coverage throughout the facility and demonstrating the value of the solution. This proved to be a key resource for the city, as it helped officials to communicate their coverage needs to other vendors and plan the project more effectively.
In addition to Glo Fiber Business’ state-of-the-art DIA service, the city selected Managed Network, Managed Switch and Managed Wi-Fi. These services provide the facility with a fully managed, turnkey infrastructure that delivers flawless, end-to-end connectivity and eliminates internal technical overhead and dead zones, ensuring all visitors stay securely and continuously connected. Additionally, the Network Performance Portal gives the city a single online dashboard to track, manage, and optimize the entire network’s health, speed, and usage in real time. It is an intuitive, customized solution that provides 24/7 access to account management and reporting tools that can help reduce costs and enhance services. The portal’s anywhere, anytime accessibility is complemented by automated notifications of problems and maintenance activities.
"Connecting a dynamic, multi-purpose complex like this new amphitheater requires a modern, integrated approach that goes far beyond basic Wi-Fi," said Glenn Lytle, SVP of Commercial Sales at Glo Fiber Business. "By delivering a fully managed, turnkey solution powered by our robust DIA network, we're eliminating technical overhead for the city while ensuring an exceptional, seamless online experience for vendors, staff, and thousands of visitors."
